Industria Försäkringsaktiebolag was founded in 1993 and is headquartered in Helsingborg. In 1994, the company received permission from the Financial Supervisory Authority to conduct non-life insurance operations.

1998-2001

Industria Insurance Company is expanding its operations to Denmark, Norway, Switzerland and Finland.

2005-2007

The company acquires global travel protection and Nord Reseskydd.

2008

Launch of roadside assistance services in Sweden.

2012

Nordic Capital acquires the majority of Resurs Holding.

Industria Försäkringsaktiebolag divests its home and car insurance portfolio to Gjensidige.

2020

Acquisition of Sykkel Holding's register of bicycle insurance in Norway.

2022

Acquisition of CAR Protect AS in a collection business, which broadens the product portfolio geographically and strengthens the position in the Norwegian market.

2024

On February 14, Svensk Bilhandelsförsäkring will be acquired in a collection business. Svensk Bilhandelsförsäkring offers insurance concepts for car guarantees in collaboration with prominent car dealers in Sweden. The acquisition strengthens Industria Försäkringsaktiebolag's leading position in car guarantees in the country.
